RKD in Málaga is seeking an Architectural Technologist to translate design concepts into detailed technical solutions, ensuring constructability, performance and compliance across projects.
The role requires a Bachelor or higher degree in Architecture or Architectural Technology and circa 3–5 years post-qualification experience, with strong BIM, Revit, BIM 360 and AutoCAD skills, and ability to coordinate design with multidisciplinary teams, including overseas site visits.

Applications are invited for the position of Architectural Technologist at a leading international architectural practice. This role is based in our Málaga office.
An Architectural Technologist is responsible for translating design concepts into detailed technical solutions, ensuring that projects are delivered to the highest standards of constructability, performance and compliance.
They demonstrate strong technical knowledge of building materials, construction methods, and building regulations, with proficiency in BIM and digital design tools.
They report to the Senior Architect/Architectural Technologist and/or Associate to develop and coordinate technical drawings and specifications, resolve design and detailing challenges and support the delivery of projects through all stages. They will work on a project team and mentor junior employees. They will ensure coordination of information from the Design Team and other project consultants. They are responsible for meeting project deliverables and reporting issues to their manager.
Location: Works four days in the office or on site as perCompany policy.
