Ardmac is seeking an Architectural Technologist to produce BIM-based design solutions, including drawings, schedules and technical submittals within agreed timeframes.

You will liaise with the Client, Ardmac Construction Team and other stakeholders to ensure a smooth handover of the design package to construction and provide ongoing project support during construction and handover phases. Proficiency in Revit, Navisworks and AutoCAD is required, with English proficiency and Spanish native.

Formación

• Degree in Building Engineering, Architectural Technology or equivalent.
• Minimum of 5 years’ BIM documentation experience for industrial or pharmaceutical projects.
• Strong knowledge of Revit, Navisworks and AutoCAD; document management familiarity.
• Knowledge of BCAR and building regulations.
• Native Spanish and a high level of English.
• Autodesk certification and BIM coordination training desirable.

Responsabilidades

• Liaise with MEP and process services using Navisworks.
• Manage drawing issues and RFIs.

Architectural technologist

Ardmac are looking to recruit an Architectural technologist; the successful candidate will be responsible for the production of Ardmac design solutions including drawings, schedules, technical submittals & other documentation required in an agreed timeframe through the use of BIM software.

The will liaise with the Client, Ardmac Construction Team and other stakeholders as required to ensure a smooth handover of the design package to the construction team and provide support as necessary to the project team during the construction and handover phase of relevant projects.

Duties and responsibilities

Responsible for:

• Liaise with Client Design Team to bring clarity to the scope of deliverables.
• Generate and Manage Document and Drawing output using BIM Technologies.
• Generate and manage technical submittals and schedules.
• Comply with Ardmac Design Procedures
• Product selection for application (fit for purpose & technical).
• Product detailing & interfacing with other components and materials.
• Co-ordination with Mechanical, Electrical and Process services using Navisworks.
• Manage the issue/receipt of the Drawing design information.
• Raise/Respond to design stage RFIs and COVIs.

Ability and knowledge of:

• BIM – Autodesk Revit, Navisworks & AutoCAD
• Building Regulations and Design Standards including BCAR
• Technical Detailing & Material Specification

Requirements

• Education: Degree in Building Engineering, Architectural Technology or equivalent.
• Experience: Minimum of 5 years’ experience producing BIM documentation for industrial or pharmaceutical projects, including multidisciplinary coordination.
• Tools: Strong practical knowledge of Revit, Navisworks and AutoCAD; familiarity with document management platforms.
• Regulations: Knowledge of applicable building regulations and health & safety standards.
• Languages: Native Spanish and a high level of English.
• Desirable certifications: Autodesk Professional certification and BIM coordination training.
• Key skills: Technical accuracy, Attention to detail, Problem-solving, Communication and teamwork
