AgileEngine in Zaragoza is seeking a Solution Architect to lead the design of a large-scale GCP data platform. You will define a lakehouse/medallion pattern using BigQuery, Dataflow, Pub/Sub, and GCS, acting as the technical voice beside client architects in a part-time, then full-time capacity.

You will translate goals into scalable architecture, govern data, advise on migration of legacy ETL, and present decisions to executives.

Formación

• 10+ years of data/enterprise architecture experience.
• Proven Google Cloud data platform design at multi-petabyte scale.
• Experience with lakehouse/medallion architectures.
• Advise on migrating legacy ETL to cloud-native patterns.
• Knowledge of ingestion/transformation tooling (Fivetran, dbt, Airflow/Composer).
• Able to communicate with executives and clients.
• Willingness to travel occasionally to the UK office.

Responsabilidades

• Design target lakehouse/medallion for multi-petabyte GCP platform.
• Translate goals into architecture decisions and roadmaps.
• Define ingestion, transformation, cataloging, governance layers.
• Advise on migration of legacy ETL to cloud-native patterns.
• Evaluate ingestion/transformation tools for proofs of concept.
• Define data governance and cataloging strategy with Dataplex/BigQuery catalog.
• Review architecture for security and maintainability.
• Present decisions to executives and security stakeholders.
• Work within controlled toolchains and AI-assisted environments.
