AgileEngine is seeking a Solution Architect to lead the technical design of a multi-petabyte GCP data platform for an enterprise telecom client. You will define a lakehouse and medallion architecture using BigQuery, Dataflow, and Pub/Sub, acting as the primary technical voice with senior client architects.

The role starts part-time and scales to full-time. You will design the target-state architecture, govern data, and guide migration of legacy ETL pipelines into modern cloud-native patterns,

Formación

• 10+ years in data/enterprise architecture.
• Experience with GCP data platforms at large scale.
• Designs lakehouse or medallion architectures (bronze/silver/gold).
• Advising on migration of legacy ETL/data platforms to modern cloud-native patterns.
• Familiar with ingestion/transformation tooling (Fivetran, dbt, Airflow/Composer).
• Experience as a trusted advisor to enterprise clients.

Responsabilidades

• Design target-state lakehouse/medallion architecture for multi-petabyte GCP data platform.
• Translate goals into scalable architecture decisions and roadmaps.
• Define ingestion, transformation, governance, and analytics-serving layers.
• Advise on migration of legacy pipelines to cloud-native patterns.
• Evaluate ingestion/transformation tooling for proofs of concept.
• Define data governance and cataloging strategy aligned with GCP catalog capabilities.
• Act as senior technical reviewer for engineers and architects.
• Present architecture decisions to executives and security stakeholders.
• Operate within a controlled toolchain and AI-assisted environments.
