Job summary

Amazon España is seeking an Area Manager to lead a site’s safety culture, quality and productivity across operations. You’ll manage a team within Customer Fulfillment, drive improvements, and partner with management to standardise shift practices.

Your role includes coaching new managers and delivering high-quality service to customers. Typical day involves overseeing shift patterns, implementing process improvements, and ensuring performance against business objectives with a focus on safety

Qualifications

• Advanced degree, or Bachelor's degree.
• Experience in people management.
• Experience working with multiple groups of stakeholders.
• Experience using data to influence business decisions.
• Advanced proficiency in verbal and written English and local language.
• Experience with process improvements (Lean Six Sigma and/or Kaizen).
• Experience within a distribution center, logistics, or manufacturing environment.
• Experience working with the MS Office suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) in a professional environment.

• Analyse and implement changes to keep quality and productivity at a consistently high level
• Oversee projects to streamline processes, optimise productivity and increase quality of service for customers within your area of responsibility
• Analyse shift performance against relevant business objectives, and put in place actions to improve our operational excellence
• Work collaboratively with management-level colleagues to standardise shift practices
