SALES MANAGER – AREA SALES MANAGER (Rockdelta)

Your future team: You will report to the Business Manager – Railways and work closely with Technical and Customer Service teams.

As Area Sales Manager you will be responsible for developing and implementing the sales strategy and delivering agreed sales targets for Rockdelta products.

  • Identify, pursue, and convert project and channel opportunities.
  • Develop yearly and action plans; monitor sales and product mix against objectives.
  • Manage pricing and discount decisions within the delegation of authority.
  • Maintain, build, and extend a network with customers, specifiers, and stakeholders.
  • Provide technical advice and consultative selling based on market or project needs.
  • Organize or co‑lead customer trainings, technical seminars, and handle after‑sales support.
  • Monitor and analyse market trends, competitors, and new opportunities.
  • Register all activity in CRM and maintain a full sales/project pipeline.
  • Collaborate with technical and customer service teams on solution development.

What you will be doing:

  • University degree, preferably in Engineering, Technical or Business.
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in B2B technical sales, ideally with project/specification sales and channel management.
  • Excellent English and Spanish; French or other languages are a plus.
  • Confident user of MS Office and CRM software.
  • Technical acumen: able to interpret specs and drawings and support consultative sales.
  • Decisive, accountable, and proactive with an entrepreneurial mindset.
  • Strong relationship builder; adaptable to diverse cultures.
  • Skilled negotiator and communicator.

  • Highly organised, CRM‑proficient (HubSpot).
  • Eager to learn about offline marketing logistics, flyers, mail routes, and activation teams.
