Job summary

Babel Profiles is seeking an Accounts Receivable Team Lead to drive daily operations of the Cash Register team and ensure accurate cash and payment reconciliations. You will lead a multi-country finance team, maintain strong internal controls, and push process improvements.

The role requires Spanish and English fluency, SAP and Excel proficiency, and a track record of guiding operational finance teams toward efficient month-end close and KPI achievement.

Qualifications

• Hands-on background in Accounts Receivable operations, cash register processes, and payment reconciliations.
• Experience leading an operational finance team.
• Strong SAP and Excel proficiency with ability to generate reports.
• Knowledge of month-end closings and internal controls.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and coordinate the daily operations of the Cash Register team, ensuring precise reconciliation of payment methods and cash transactions.
• Lead, coach, and empower team members through workload distribution, performance feedback, and structured onboarding/training initiatives.
• Ensure full execution and alignment of month-end and year-end closing activities related to cash register and Accounts Receivable processes.
• Monitor operational performance against established KPIs, maintaining rigorous compliance with internal controls and standard procedures.
• Serve as the main point of contact for complex incident resolution, managing operational escalations and account discrepancies.
• Partner effectively with key internal and external stakeholders, including Country Finance teams, Treasury, retail stores, and GBS leadership.
