Kongsberg Automotive is seeking an Applications Engineer to join our global team. The role involves collaborating with colleagues, customers and suppliers across Europe to provide technical solutions and support for KA programs.

You will lead project activities, identify opportunities with customers, and present solutions with trial installations to drive KA wins in a fast-paced, international environment.

Formación

• BSc in Mechanical or Automotive Engineering (or equivalent).
• 5 years experience in relevant product design engineering.
• Proficient in analysis tools and MS Office.
• Strong interpersonal and presentation skills.

Responsabilidades

• Provide technical and creative solution support for customers, KA Program Managers & KA Sales in a timely manner.
• Lead a professional Project Team and implement KA processes and tools.
• Identify & evaluate application and component opportunities at the customer.
• Present technical solutions to customers and execute trial installations on new vehicle programmes to secure KA business wins.

Responsibilities

• Providing technical and creative solution support for Customers, KA Program Managers & KA Sales in a timely manner.
• Playing a leading role within a professional Project Team and implementing KA processes and tools
• Identifying & evaluating application and components opportunities at the customer
• Presenting technical solutions to the Customers and executing trial installations on customer new vehicle programmes ensuring KA successful business wins.

Requirements

To Be Successful In The Role You Must Have

• A BSc Degree in Mechanical or Automotive Engineering
• 5 years experience in relevant product design engineering
• Skilled in analysis tools and proficient in MS Office
• Strong interpersonal and presentation skills
