Job summary

GE HealthCare in Spain is seeking an entry-level Clinical Applications Apprentice – Anesthesia to begin a career in medical technology. You will learn from experienced Clinical Application Specialists, Sales, and Service teams while building clinical, technical, and product knowledge of anesthesia systems across the Spanish market.

This role blends structured learning with hands-on field experience, including hospitals, product demonstrations, training, installations, and customer interactions.

Qualifications

• Recent graduate with Bachelor's or Master's degree in Biomedical Engineering, Nursing, Healthcare Technologies, or related discipline.
• No previous professional experience required; internships or university projects are a plus.
• Willingness to travel within Spain and occasionally internationally for customer visits and training.
• Fluent Spanish and good level of English, both written and spoken.

Responsibilities

• Develop understanding of anesthesia workflows, ventilation principles, patient monitoring, and equipment through training and field experience.
• Support experienced specialists in customer training, product demonstrations, clinical evaluations, and educational activities.
• Assist during product installations and first clinical use, helping customers become familiar with anesthesia systems.
• Accompany the team during customer visits to hospitals to understand needs and workflows.
• Assist in preparing clinical presentations, product demonstrations, workshops, and training materials.
• Support tender documentation and sharing of technical information when required.
• Contribute to collecting customer feedback and market insights.
