Job summary

Ria Money Transfer is seeking an API Operations Engineer in IT to monitor, investigate, and follow up on API incidents in a fast-paced, multicultural environment. Fluent English is essential for daily communication and documentation.

The role requires familiarity with databases, T-SQL, SQL Server, and basic C# in a .NET setting to troubleshoot backend data interactions and service integrations. You will work with developers and QA to reproduce issues, document findings, and ensure reliable

Qualifications

Solid understanding of API concepts, particularly SOAP and REST.
Experience with ElasticSearch for log analysis.
Knowledge of databases, T-SQL, and SQL Server for query execution and data validation.

Responsibilities

Monitor system performance during production deployments.
Investigate incidents related to APIs by analyzing logs in ElasticSearch and checking system configurations.
Perform database queries and validations using T-SQL in SQL Server to support issue analysis and resolution.
Act as the first point of contact for API-related issues and escalate to development when necessary.
Collaborate with developers and QA engineers to reproduce and debug issues, including .NET-based APIs.
Participate in Agile ceremonies (Scrum or Kanban).
Document findings, common issues, and solutions to support continuous improvement.
Ensure effective communication with stakeholders in a distributed and international setup.
