Amentum is seeking an Assistant Operator in Responsible Charge (AORC) for a Full-time, on-site role on Diego Garcia. You will assist in operating and maintaining a water treatment plant, producing clean drinking water, and ensuring compliance with all state and federal standards.

The position requires handling emergency situations and maintaining meticulous operational records. Ideal candidates will hold Level II Treatment and Level II Distribution certifications, maintain current operator

Formación

• Must possess the qualifications for Level II Treatment and Level II Distribution operator.
• English language proficiency to perform contract requirements and emergency procedures.

Responsabilidades

• Assist in operating the water treatment plant to produce clean drinking water.
• Assist in operation and maintenance of the water treatment plant, ensuring compliance with standards.
• Monitor and control equipment processes; conduct regular maintenance and keep records.
• Support water sampling and lab testing to verify water quality per state and federal standards.
• Record operations, maintenance, and testing results accurately.
• Respond to emergencies to maintain water supply.
• Ensure safety protocols, PPE use, and proper chemical handling.
