Job summary

Idneo in Mollet del Vallès (Barcelona) is seeking an Antenna / RF Design Engineer to lead end-to-end design, simulation, and validation of antennas and RF front-end systems. You will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to meet technical specs, quality standards, and project timelines.

The role requires 2+ years in RF design, proficiency with ADS, HFSS, FEKO, and AWR, and a strong command of English. Hybrid work is offered, with occasional travel for testing campaigns and customer

Qualifications

• 2+ years of solid experience designing Antennas and/or RF front ends (PAs, LNAs, filters, mixers, combiners).
• Bachelor’s, Master’s, or Ph.D. in Telecommunications/Electronics with RF/Microwave focus.
• Proven experience with RF/EM simulation tools (AWR/ADS and FEKO/HFSS).
• Advanced English (written and spoken).

Responsibilities

• Antennas and RF circuit design across MHz to mmWave front ends.
• EM simulations using ADS, Microwave Office, HFSS, FEKO.
• Laboratory testing and validation with VNAs and spectrum analyzers.
• PCB layout supervision for RF traces with RF guidelines.
• Design optimization for performance and cost.
• Lifecycle management with manufacturing teams for mass production.
• Prepare technical documentation, reports and test procedures.
