Job summary

Qualifyze seeks a Team Lead Analytics to steer the analytics domain within our BI team while staying hands-on with data models and the Looker semantic layer. You will build robust dbt models, maintain the semantic layer, and ensure reliable investor metrics and CRM data for commercial teams.

This player‑coach role blends leadership with direct technical work on dbt, semantic modeling, and Looker, focusing on governance, stakeholder alignment, and continuous improvement across the data stack.

Qualifications

• Experience as Analytics Engineer with strong data modelling and SQL.
• Proven ability to build dbt models and transformation pipelines with testing and Git-based workflows.
• Understand dimensional modelling, semantic layers, and metric governance.
• Experience defining and governing business metrics and reporting, including investor or board reporting.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Analytics vertical (analytics engineering, business analysis, CRM data) and coach the team while delivering high-quality analytics.
• Own data modeling layer end-to-end, design and review dbt models and enrich the semantic model for Looker self-service reporting.
• Govern investor reporting metrics and ensure data accuracy, traceability, and reproducibility, while aligning CRM data enrichment with the data warehouse.
• Collaborate with business analysts to translate requirements into data models, explores, and reports; partner with Data Engineering on ingestion and warehouse architecture.
• Establish code/design reviews, dbt tests, CI/CD, data quality monitoring, and runbooks to improve tooling and retire legacy models.
