Formación

Job Summary

We’re looking for an AIT Shopfloor Engineer to support thermomechanical and electrical integration of satellites and functional testing in Airbus Defence and Space’s Getafe (Madrid) facility.

Core Responsibilities

• Responsible for thermomechanical and electrical integrations of satellites, including functional testing.
• Assist in the assembly of subassemblies and flight‑critical components.
• Update work orders in accordance with tasks performed.
• Ensure compliance with procedures, health & safety regulations, and relevant certification updates.
• Contribute to design, development and implementation activities in satellite integration campaigns.
• Work on multidisciplinary mechanical and electrical tasks.

Qualifications & Skills

• High School Technical Diploma (FP) in Electronic or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in manufacturing or integration activities.
• Solid electrical knowledge and alignment knowledge; experience in the space sector desirable.
• Ability to adapt quickly to new topics, businesses and networking environments.
• Advanced proficiency in English.
• Willingness to travel for medium stays (≈15 days).
