Job summary
Airbus Defence and Space SAU is seeking an Aircrew Technical Publications Engineer in Pinto, Madrid. The role focuses on authoring flight manuals and checklists for combat aircraft pilots within international programs, requiring deep technical knowledge and experience in military publications.
You will interact with Customer Services and other disciplines, ensure up-to-date documentation, and support pilots in using the publications.
Qualifications
- 2–3 years of experience in Technical Publications
- Knowledge of support to military aircraft operation
- Experience in Customer services for military aircraft
- Knowledge of ASD 1000D specification
- Knowledge of military Certification process
- Proficiency with SGML/XML editors and technical publication tools
Responsibilities
- Customer requirements, system design, product databases, technical documentation.
- Prepare and maintain updated technical documentation used by combat aircraft pilots.
- Elaborate technical content, generation of illustrations orders, production and management of documentation as well as related services.
- Help the Customer with the use of delivered technical publications.
- Configuration and management of technical data and publications.
- Update the technical publications as required.
- Technical publications for combat aircraft pilots (Flight Manuals and Checklists)
