Airbus Defence and Space SAU busca un Ingeniero Senior de Diseño de Instalaciones Eléctricas para unirse al Departamento de Diseño de Instalaciones Eléctricas (límite español). Participará en el desarrollo de capacidades para Eurofighter y otros programas como FCAS, Eurodrone o A400M, trabajando con equipos multinacionales.

Se requiere más de 5 años en diseño/aerostructuras y dominio de CATIA, herramientas de diagramas eléctricos y buena capacidad de comunicación.

Formación

• Titulación en Aeronáutica o Ingeniería Industrial o similar.
• Más de 5 años de experiencia en Diseño o Departamento de Airframe.
• Inglés avanzado; español nativo; valorable alemán o italiano.

Responsabilidades

• Definir el dossier de diseño para EWIS, diagramas y arneses.
• Diseñar soportes mecánicos, bracetería y instalaciones electromecánicas.
• Utilizar CATIA V5/V6-3DX y herramientas de diagramas eléctricos.
• Colaborar con equipos internacionales y cumplir requisitos de fabricación.
• Gestionar documentación técnica y cambios de diseño a lo largo del ciclo.

Job Description: An opportunity for an Electrical Installation Senior Design Engineer has arisen within Airbus Defence and Space. The selected candidate will join the Electrical System Installation Design Department (Spanish perimeter) to support the development of Eurofighter future capabilities, such as P4E and LTE.The team is multicultural and multidisciplinary, collaborating with a high number of global stakeholders including Systems Analysis, Configuration, Structural Design, Manufacturing, and In-Service Support. While the primary focus is on Eurofighter, the jobholder will also have the opportunity to support and understand other major development programs within the department, such as FCAS, Eurodrone, A400M, or legacy combat aircraft.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• *Perform* the design definition dossier for Electrical Wiring Interconnection Systems (EWIS), including wiring diagrams and electrical harnesses.
• *Design* mechanical supports, bracketry, and complex electromechanical installations for onboard equipment and electrical boxes.
• *Utilize* CATIA V5/V6-3DX alongside electrical diagram tools to model, trace, and integrate advanced electrical routing.
• *Collaborate* with international engineering teams and stakeholders to align installation designs with structural and manufacturing requirements.
• *Manage* associated technical documentation, configuration control, and design changes throughout the product development lifecycle.

SKILLS

• *Education*: Aeronautical or Industrial Engineering degree, or a related discipline.
• *Experience*: Over 5 years of experience in Engineering, specifically within a Design or Airframe Department.
• *Soft skills*: Strong interpersonal and communication skills, highly self-organized, able to propose new ideas, and highly adaptable to work on new topics in a network mode.
• *Languages*: Advanced level in English. Spanish as a mother tongue. Knowledge of German or Italian will be valued.
• *Technical knowledge*: Strong background in electrical or electromechanical design fields, including CATIA V5 knowledge (desirable CATIA V6/3DX) and electrical diagram tools (See-XP, Capital Logic, etc.).
