Job summary

Alira Health Boston, LLC seeks an Applied AI Consultant Engineer to join our hybrid Barcelona team. You will bridge technical development and client-facing strategy, building Python data pipelines and deploying LLM-powered agents in healthcare projects.

You’ll design AI-driven solutions, collaborate with senior consultants, and contribute to internal tooling and MCP-based workflows. 2–5 years in AI/data engineering or related consulting roles is preferred.

Qualifications

• Degree in a technical field with practical AI experience or equivalent.
• 2–5 years of applied AI, data engineering, or consulting-adjacent work.
• Strong Python programming and data processing skills.
• Location: Barcelona, Spain (Hybrid with in-office collaboration emphasis).

Responsibilities

• Design and implement AI-powered data pipelines and integration workflows.
• Develop and deploy LLM-based agents and automation within consulting projects.
• Translate business problems into AI-driven solutions and communicate with stakeholders.
• Contribute to project scoping, workplans, and deliverables in a multi-project environment.
