Quest Software is seeking an experienced AI Software Engineer to help define AI-first software development practices for a cloud-native SaaS product on the Microsoft Azure platform. The role combines strong C#/.NET, Azure, and backend engineering with hands-on AI coding agents to improve speed and quality.

The successful candidate will contribute to the product codebase while helping the team adopt AI-driven approaches that enhance development speed, test coverage, and refactoring.

Formación

• Completion of a computer science undergraduate degree or equivalent.
• 5+ years of professional software development experience with C#/.NET.
• Experience using AI coding agents and AI-assisted development tools in real projects.
• Hands-on experience with GitHub Copilot, Claude Code, Windsurf or similar platforms.
• Experience with Azure technologies and cloud-based architectures.
• Experience with NoSQL/SQL databases and serverless architectures.
• Strong communication and collaboration in Agile teams.

Responsabilidades

• Contribute to adoption of AI-first development practices across the team.
• Use AI coding agents extensively in design, implementation, testing, debugging, and documentation.
• Design prompts, agent instructions, and workflows for reliable AI-assisted development.
• Build scalable, serverless SaaS capabilities on Azure using C#/.NET.
• Collaborate on architecture, CI/CD, and release readiness in an Agile SCRUM environment.
