Wave Group seeks an experienced backend engineer to build, operate and improve the reliability of autonomous AI agents for enterprise clients. You will own the observability and evaluation layer, including tracing, logging, cost tracking, and regression testing across model changes.

You’ll work end-to-end across the stack: production-grade async Python services, LLM/RAG pipelines, and the voice layer where relevant (STT/TTS, telephony). Hybrid work with Madrid/Barcelona offices offered.

Formación

• Fluent English; Spanish ideal.
• Strong Python backend engineering: async, queues (Celery + Redis).
• Experience building evaluation pipelines for non-deterministic systems.
• Observability: tracing, logging, metrics, cost tracking.
• Cloud deployment and containerisation (AWS/GCP, Docker).
• Git, CI/CD, code review; clean, documented code.
• Startup pace: ownership, proactiveness, ambiguity handling.
• Conversational/voice AI: STT/TTS, telephony (Twilio).
• Frontend experience with React is a plus.
• Experience with enterprise/B2B products.
• Model fine-tuning or cost-optimisation experience.
