Barcelona Supercomputing Center seeks a Research Engineer/Developer to advance Language Technologies in Applied Intelligence projects within a premier HPC environment. The role focuses on deploying NLP models, developing scalable AI experiments and collaborating with partners across Europe.

You will contribute to model deployment, data-driven evaluations, and the dissemination of results through talks and technical reports, supporting real-world AI deployments for science and industry.

Formación

• 3+ years of experience in data science and AI frameworks.
• Experience coding NLP applications in Python.
• Knowledge of version control tools and best practices.
• Familiarity with HPC environments.

Responsabilidades

• Assist AI users with implementation of BSC-developed resources, models and datasets.
• Support start-ups, SMEs, corporations, public institutions and academic organizations in developing AI applications.
• Plan, design and conduct evaluations of natural language platforms to identify development priorities.
• Technical English writing of project deliverables.
• Monitor state of the art in Language Technologies and needs of AI stakeholders.
• Advise external stakeholders on projects leveraging BSC AI infrastructures.
• Prepare and deliver talks about AI and its applications at technical forums.
