Alvarez & Marsal in Madrid seeks an AI Forward-Deployed Engineer to design, build, and ship production-grade AI agents and automations that run in client environments.

You will collaborate on-site with client teams, translate business needs into robust technical designs, and deploy solutions across SAP Joule/BTP, Salesforce Agentforce, Microsoft Copilot, Power Platform, and more, ensuring smooth handover and enablement.

Formación

• Several years building and shipping software or data products used in production.
• Strong Python; comfortable with APIs, data pipelines, and cloud services (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
• Hands-on experience with LLM-based systems: prompt design, retrieval, tool/function calling, agent frameworks; practical understanding of failure modes.
• Routine use of version control, testing, and CI/CD.
• Client presence: ability to ask challenging questions and explain technical trade-offs in business terms.
• Fluent English; Spanish advantageous; other European languages welcome.
• Willingness to travel within Europe and to work on client sites several days per week during engagements.

Responsabilidades

• Build production-grade AI solutions (agents, workflow automations, integrations) that run in the cliente’s environment.
• Work on-site with client teams to understand processes before automating; stay with delivery through stabilization and handover.
• Move quickly from proof of concept to robust deployments (tests, error handling, logging, documentation, clean handover).
• Implement on client-preferred platforms: SAP Joule/BTP, Salesforce Agentforce, Microsoft Copilot and Power Platform, orchestration tools (e.g., n8n), or bespoke Python when required.
• Translate business cases into buildable technical designs; clearly communicate when constraints make a solution unviable.
• Enable client teams to operate and extend what you deliver (templates, patterns, enablement)—avoid creating dependency.
• Contribute assets and learnings back to the AI Lab library to accelerate future engagements.

The Team

• The AI Lab is A&M’s forward-deployed AI engineering capability within Digital & Technology Services EMEA, launching from Madrid.
• We embed directly within client teams to design, build, and ship AI agents, automations, and accelerators that move from advisory insight into production reality.
• We partner closely with A&M consulting teams: consultants identify and quantify value; the AI Lab engineers make it real at the client—on their platforms, in their environment, and with their people.

How You Will Contribute

• Consulting, agency, or client‑facing delivery experience.
• Exposure to regulated environments, and to data protection, security review, or model risk processes.
• Front‑end skills (e.g., React) to build usable interfaces around agents.
