Job summary

MaxIT Consulting – Max Corporate Group in Barcelona, Spain, seeks a Senior AI-First Full-Stack Engineer to own the full product stack, from frontend to deployment, with AI-assisted development as part of the workflow. You will join a small, founder-led team and influence product and engineering decisions.

You will design and deploy production web apps using TypeScript/React on the frontend and Java, Kotlin, Python, or Go on the backend, operating in AWS or GCP, with a focus on secure healthcare

Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional software engineering experience.
• Strong TypeScript experience with modern frontend framework (preferably React).
• Professional experience with backend languages: Java, Kotlin, Python, or Go.
• Strong SQL knowledge and schema design for complex workflows.
• Experience deploying and operating production apps on AWS or GCP.
• Daily use of AI coding assistants and ability to verify AI-generated code.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, deploy, and operate production web applications end to end.
• Work across frontend, backend, databases, cloud infra, and product workflows.
• Build modern user experiences with TypeScript and React or similar frontend tech.
• Develop backend services using Java, Kotlin, Python, Go, or related languages.
• Design robust SQL schemas for real-time workflows.
• Deploy and operate apps in AWS or GCP environments.
• Use AI coding assistants daily while maintaining strong review practices.
• Collaborate with product, design, operations, and customer-facing teams.
• Own technical outcomes from problem definition to production operation.
• Build secure and reliable systems handling healthcare information.
