Syngenta Crop Protection is seeking an AI Engineer — Python to enhance the Python layer of our internal developer platform, shaping the tooling and templates used across global teams. You will partner with engineers, product leaders and scientific stakeholders to accelerate digital capabilities that support sustainable agriculture.

Formación

• Demonstrable experience in Modern Python: packaging, types and async.
• Proven experience with shared libraries and service templates.
• Proven expertise in AI-assisted engineering with rigorous evaluation.
• Hands-on in CI/CD, Docker, Kubernetes and Terraform.
• Experience in test and quality engineering and secure coding practices.
• Documentation-as-code and agent-consumable interfaces experience.
• Strong system thinking for internal platform development.
• Excellent communication across technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Fluent English, written and spoken, with mentoring ability.

Responsabilidades

• Lead and apply deep expertise in Modern Python to deliver durable, scalable outcomes.
• Guide shared libraries and service templates to empower internal platforms.
• Advance AI-assisted engineering with rigorous evaluation and impact.
• Drive CI/CD, Docker, Kubernetes and Terraform to ensure reliability.
• Elevate testing, security, performance profiling and benchmarking.
• Champion documentation-as-code and clear interfaces for teams.
• Mentor junior engineers and perform thorough code reviews.
• Collaborate with product and science teams to translate needs into solutions.
• Set high quality standards and foster thoughtful use of AI tooling.
