Job summary

haddock is seeking an AI Engineer in Barcelona to design and ship scalable AI systems that power restaurant workflows. The role is hybrid, with at least two days per week in the Poblenou office.

You will work on production-grade AI solutions, collaborate with product and customers, and help push the product forward with robust observability and cost-conscious engineering. Salary ranges €40–50k gross/year with benefits and modern office.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of hands-on experience building AI systems in production.
• Fluent in Spanish and comfortable in English.

Responsibilities

• Architect and ship AI solutions for restaurateurs, balancing latency, cost and accuracy.
• Own AI observability end-to-end: monitor traces, eval frameworks, and close the improvement loop as fast as possible.
• Build backend and frontend code to integrate AI capabilities into the product.
• Talk to customers to validate new solutions and get feedback.
