Astek Iberia is seeking an experienced AI Engineer / AI Tech Lead to design, develop and deploy scalable AI solutions in a large-scale Retail/eCommerce environment. You will lead technical decisions, mentor engineers and drive MLOps, Azure OpenAI deployments and AI governance.

Ideal candidates have 5+ years in AI/ML, strong Python, Azure Cloud, and distributed systems expertise, with leadership experience in senior roles. Galicia/Spain location; flexible schedules.

Formación

• 5+ years of experience in Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, or Advanced Analytics.
• Previous experience as a Technical Lead, Lead AI Engineer, or similar senior role.
• Strong expertise in Generative AI, LLMs, Prompt Engineering, RAG, and AI Agents.
• Advanced Python development skills and solid software engineering foundations.
• Experience with cloud environments, preferably Microsoft Azure, and services such as Azure OpenAI.
• Strong understanding of MLOps practices, CI/CD, Docker, Kubernetes, and model lifecycle management.
• Knowledge of scalable architectures, distributed systems, and AI governance.
• Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, Telecommunications, or a related technical discipline.

This is a unique opportunity for a hands-on AI expert with strong technical leadership skills who is passionate about building, deploying, and scaling cutting-edge Artificial Intelligence and Generative AI solutions in a large-scale environment.

Main responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and deploy scalable AI solutions in production environments.
