Roche in Sant Cugat seeks a Senior Software Engineering Manager & Solution Architect to provide visionary technical steering and empathetic people leadership. This hybrid role dedicates 75% to Solution Architecture and 25% to engineering management, shaping the navify PoC program across cloud and edge environments.

You will lead a team of Senior Software Engineers, mentor engineers, manage performance, and align roadmaps with enterprise architecture.

Formación

• BSc in Computer Science or Computer Engineering or equivalent.
• 8+ years of experience as a software engineer and architect.
• 5 years as Solution/Cloud Architect in cloud and edge healthcare interoperability (FHIR, HL7, EMR).
• 5+ years of people leadership with team development focus.

Responsabilidades

• Act as the primary technical point of contact for stakeholders and cross-disciplinary teams.
• Drive architecture roadmaps, governance, and platform standards alignment.
• Influence without authority and align dependencies across programs.
• Lead AI-enabled SDLCs and embed AI into cloud/edge products while considering regulatory constraints.
• Translate technical decisions into business value and clear non-technical language.
• Remove blockers and prioritize tasks to meet architectural roadmaps.
• Define modular, high-availability AWS architecture and elastic data processing.
• Oversee DotNet-based edge solutions and interfacing with diverse instrument fleets.
• Set non-functional requirements, security, privacy, and data integrity SLAs.
• Advise on technology trends for decision-making and external engagements.
• Ensure compliance with security, privacy, accessibility, and governance policies.
• Lead hiring and maintain team morale under regulatory constraints.
