Job summary

Sabadell Asset Management in Spain seeks a VIE to join the OST department to support transforming the operational and technological model with a mix of technical and functional skills, driving a more digital, data-driven operating framework.

You will automate recurring tasks, develop data processing utilities in Java, Python and PL/SQL, and participate in AI-driven initiatives to enhance efficiency. Jira for incident tracking and Confluence for documentation are used daily.

Qualifications

• Develop and maintain technical utilities in Java, Python and PL/SQL for data processing, task automation and operational support.
• Support the transformation of the operating model through automation and AI-enabled processes.
• Provide functional support for the investment funds business and manage user requests with a ticketing system.

Responsibilities

• Support the transformation of the current operating model, contributing to automation of recurring tasks and processes.
• Identify opportunities for improvement and automation in workflows, especially through AI tools.
• Develop and maintain utilities in Java, Python and PL/SQL for data processing and operational support.
• Collaborate in exploring AI models applied to business processes and efficiency.
• Manage user requests and incident tracking via a ticketing system, preferably JIRA.
• Update team documentation in Confluence for traceability and knowledge sharing.
• Provide functional support for the investment funds business and understand operational needs.
• Coordinate with operational project stakeholders, arrange task follow-up and reporting.
• Contribute to information and process quality, supporting testing and continuous improvement tasks.
