One of our companies is currently looking for an AI Director in Spain.

This is a unique leadership opportunity to establish and shape a company's AI strategy from the ground up. As the AI Director, you will define a transformative vision for leveraging artificial intelligence across all areas of the business—from internal processes to customer-facing solutions. You'll build and lead a high-performing team of AI specialists, drive innovation through research and experimentation, and ensure scalable, ethical, and effective deployment of AI technologies. The role requires both deep technical knowledge and strong strategic thinking, combined with a hands-on leadership approach.

Accountabilities:

• Develop and own the company's AI strategy, aligning it with long-term business goals
• Identify key opportunities to apply AI across products, services, and operations
• Build and mentor a world-class team of AI engineers, data scientists, and researchers
• Oversee AI project lifecycles, from ideation and prototyping to deployment and optimization
• Ensure responsible AI practices including fairness, transparency, and accountability
• Collaborate with product, engineering, marketing, and executive teams to drive cross-functional success
• Represent the AI function internally and externally, including with clients and partners
  
  
  

Requirements

• Advanced degree (Master's or Ph.D.) in AI, Machine Learning, Computer Science, or a related field
• 8-10+ years of experience in AI/ML development with 3-5+ years leading technical teams
• Deep knowledge of machine learning methods, NLP, computer vision, and MLOps practices
• Proficiency in Python and ML frameworks such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, and Scikit-learn
• Strong background in data engineering, model deployment, and cloud infrastructure
• Demonstrated ability to convert complex business challenges into AI solutions
• Excellent communication and leadership skills; fluent in English (Spanish is a plus)
