Mainloop AI in Barcelona is seeking a Forward Deployed Engineer to join our AI-native delivery team, embedding with clients to map processes, build MVPs, and prove value quickly.

You will work at the intersection of engineering, consulting and product, using AI coding agents to move from idea to working prototype with rapid feedback and disciplined handover.

Fluent English is required; Spanish is useful. Based in Barcelona with frequent travel across Europe.

Formación

• You speak fluent English; Spanish is useful day to day.
• You have a consultant’s instinct and can build solutions.
• You can build working web applications across frontend and backend.
• You can go from an idea to something usable on your own.
• You use coding agents seriously and review their output critically.
• You can quantify impact and say no when a project isn’t worth building.
• You write clearly — functional architecture, project write-ups and handover docs.

Responsabilidades

• Going into the business, often in person, to understand how a process actually works.
• Sitting with the people doing the work, not just relying on the process as described by management.
• Mapping workflows, pain points, actors, rules, data flows and business impact.
• Writing the functional architecture that agents and engineers can build from.
• Using AI coding agents to move from idea to working prototype quickly.
• Building MVPs that can be tested with real users.
• Running feedback loops with stakeholders and improving the product through each iteration.
• Onboarding early users and making sure the MVP is actually adopted.
• Creating a clear handover pack for the Product Owner and engineering team.
