AstroKube is seeking a versatile engineer to design and build AI agents and AI-native systems that automate platform engineering and operations. You will work with LLM APIs, agent frameworks, and MCP-style protocols to create scalable automation across cloud platforms.

You will also design and implement Cloud Native platforms, develop Terraform/Pulumi modules and Kubernetes operators, and help migrate applications to the new platform while ensuring ongoing operations and testing.

Responsabilidades

• Design and build AI agents and AI-native systems that automate platform engineering and operations work using LLM APIs and agent frameworks.
• Participate in design and implementation of Cloud Native platforms and Release Engineering processes.
• Develop Infrastructure as Code modules and automate operational processes on Cloud Native platforms (Terraform, Pulumi, Kubernetes).
• Deploy Cloud Native platforms (often Kubernetes) and assist migrations of applications to the new platform; participate in platform operations.
• Develop automatic tests to validate architectures and cloud platforms.
• Contribute to tools and features for self-service Cloud platforms.

At AstroKube, our mission is to enable the world to create and maintain reliable digital products.

To accomplish it, we build AstroKube Platform, which unifies infrastructure context, reusable components and repeatable workflows under permissions that control what humans and AI agents can run.

We also build AstroKube Agents, a team of specialist agents (platform engineering, release engineering, SRE, security, FinOps) that do operational work with varying degrees of engineering supervision.

To complement our products, we deliver Cloud Native services.

• Salary EUR 24-45K
• Hybrid work, combine in-person at our offices in Ciudad Real and remote

What will you do?

You will have the following responsibilities:

• You will design and build AI agents and AI-native systems that automate platform engineering and operations work. You will achieve this using LLM APIs, agent frameworks and protocols such as MCP, or the technology you apply based on the problem.
• You will participate in the design and implementation of Cloud Native platforms and Release Engineering processes.
• You will develop Infrastructure as Code modules and automate operational processes on Cloud Native platforms. You will achieve this using Terraform modules, Pulumi modules, Kubernetes operators, or the technology you apply based on the problem.
• You will deploy Cloud Native platforms (almost always based on Kubernetes) and then help migrate applications to this new platform. In addition, you will participate in the platform's operations: "you build it, you run it!"
• You will develop automatic tests to validate architectures and Cloud platforms.
• You will participate in the ideation and development of tools and functionalities to create self-service Cloud platforms.
