A leading consulting firm seeks a Senior Agile Coach to support IT delivery teams in a remote role based in Andalucía, Spain. This position involves guiding teams in agile practices, facilitating the agile transition, and improving delivery performance. Candidates must have over 3 years of experience in agile leadership roles, along with excellent coaching and facilitation skills. Proficiency in both English and Spanish is required.

Formación

  • Duration: 6 months initial term (extension likely)
  • Start Date: ASAP
  • Rate: €40 - €50 per hour (depending on experience)
  • Location: Remote (within EU), occasional travel may be required to Madrid office

We are seeking a Senior Agile Coach / Senior Agile Master to support multiple IT delivery teams within a large international organization. The role involves guiding teams and product owners in adopting and optimizing agile methodologies, driving process improvements, and fostering an agile mindset across both team and domain levels.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in agile transformation, process analysis, and cross-team collaboration, combined with excellent facilitation and coaching skills.

Key Responsibilities
Team & Delivery Support
  • Facilitate the transition to agile ways of working, helping teams improve delivery efficiency and collaboration.
  • Coach IT product teams and product owners in agile practices such as Scrum, Kanban, and Lean principles.
  • Support the establishment of agile frameworks, tools, and metrics to enable transparency and data‑driven decision‑making.
  • Facilitate agile ceremonies (e.g., retrospectives, sprint planning, reviews) according to team maturity.
  • Identify and remove delivery impediments and foster a culture of continuous improvement.
  • Resolve or mediate team‑level conflicts to maintain productive collaboration.
Process & Domain-Level Analysis
  • Conduct process analysis at both team and domain levels to identify optimization opportunities.
  • Define, refine, and implement agile delivery models and workflow improvements across multiple teams.
  • Collaborate with other agile practitioners to align methods, metrics, and best practices across the organization.
Experience & Skills
  • 3+ years' experience in a comparable agile leadership or coaching role (e.g. Senior Scrum Master, Agile Coach, Delivery Lead).
  • Proven track record of leading agile transformations and coaching multiple teams within complex environments.
  • Strong experience in process analysis, workflow optimization, and delivery performance improvement.
  • Advanced knowledge of Agile and Lean frameworks (Scrum, Kanban, SAFe, etc.).
  • Excellent facilitation, coaching, and conflict‑resolution skills.
  • Comfortable working across multi‑team and cross‑domain environments.
  • Proficient in establishing and tracking delivery metrics for continuous improvement.
Languages
  • Fluent English and Spanish (both written and spoken) are mandatory.
