GMV is seeking a backend engineer to design, develop and maintain microservices-based software for space surveillance and tracking. You will work with Java and Spring Boot, design RESTful APIs, and optimize PostgreSQL data models in a distributed system environment.

Join a multidisciplinary team in a role that includes real-time incident support, API security, and documentation to ensure compliance with space industry standards. Relocation support is offered for new hires in Madrid.

Formación

• Strong backend development experience in Java with Spring Boot.
• Experience designing RESTful APIs and using OpenAPI/Swagger.
• Solid PostgreSQL data modeling and query optimization.
• Hands-on experience with Docker and containerized environments.
• Knowledge of microservice architectures and distributed systems.
• Familiarity with Git version control and CI/CD workflows.
• Experience with software testing (unit/integration) and clean code practices.
• Knowledge of API security (OAuth2, JWT).

You will work on a microservices-based backend to process high-volume data and integrate specialized algorithms. You’ll collaborate with aerospace, software, systems, and DevOps engineers to validate and deploy robust solutions.
