GMV's Engineering & Studies Division in Madrid seeks a Senior Systems Engineer to design and develop space missions, define mission and system architectures, and guide analysis, platform/payload selection, and ground segment concepts.

You will refine system requirements, contribute to budgets, and lead validation across development phases, working in a cross-functional, English-documented environment with mobility opportunities.

Formación

• Requires MSc in aerospace engineering and at least 5 years in system engineering.
• Experience with Mission Analysis and design of space mission payloads or spacecraft subsystems.
• Proficiency in formal project documentation in English and MS Office.
• Experience working in integrated multidisciplinary space teams and cross-functional environments.

Responsabilidades

• Analyze mission and system requirements for space missions.
• Coordinate definition of mission and system architecture to meet requirements.
• Coordinate mission analysis activities including orbit selection and debris mitigation.
• Participate in the selection and definition of platform and payloads.
• Contribute to mission operations and ground segment architecture.
• Lead refinement of system requirements to subsystem level across development phases.
• Complete System Engineering Models with sub-system and component details.
• Lead generation of system budgets (mass, power, communications).
• Review fulfillment of system requirements at subsystem level.

In this role you will help design and develop space missions within GMV's Engineering & Studies Division. You will work on defining mission and system architectures to meet requirements and guide mission analysis, platform/payload selection, and ground segment concepts. You will refine system requirements through implementation phases and contribute to system budgets and verification. This is a hands-on, cross-disciplinary position in a global space-focused team offering hybrid work and mobility opportunities.
