GMV Spain invites an Aerospace Engineer intern to join our SSA/STM team in Madrid. You will help compile and integrate the computational layer with WebAssembly, and contribute to orbital event calculations and 3D visualizations using CesiumJS.

We seek students in Aerospace Engineering or related fields with interest in orbital mechanics, basic programming, and strong English. Hybrid work model, relocation support may be offered, and mentoring will be provided.

• Interest in orbital mechanics, astrodynamics, and software development.

WHAT CHALLENGE WILL YOU BE TAKING ON?

At GMV, we develop advanced software solutions for space situational awareness (SSA) and space traffic management (STM), combining astrodynamics, scientific computing, and modern web technologies.

As part of our team, you will perform tasks such as:

• Compiling and integrating the computational layer using WebAssembly.
• Integrating the calculation of orbital events into a web application.
• Developing interactive 3D visualizations with CesiumJS.

WHAT DO WE NEED IN OUR TEAM?

For this position, we are looking for students majoring in Aerospace Engineering or a related field. Candidates should have knowledge of mechanics, dynamics, and aerospace systems, as well as basic experience in programming and numerical computation.

Interest in orbital mechanics, astrodynamics, and software development. Ability to understand and integrate existing technical software. Good command of written and spoken English.
