Join is a technology company with 30+ years in IT, seeking an OpenShift Administrator to support a major international project in Madrid. You will install, configure, and maintain OpenShift across development, staging, and production environments.

You will monitor health, manage upgrades, RBAC, security policies, and collaborate across infrastructure, development, and operations teams. English and Spanish proficiency are required; on-site location is Madrid South Area.

Formación

  • Fluent English and Spanish required for daily collaboration.
  • Experience administering Red Hat OpenShift platforms.
  • Strong knowledge of Kubernetes and containerized environments.
  • Experience with IaC and automation tools like Ansible or Terraform.
  • Background in CI/CD and DevOps practices.

Responsabilidades

  • Install, configure, and maintain OpenShift clusters across dev, staging, and prod.
  • Monitor cluster health, performance, and capacity to prevent downtime.
  • Administer core OpenShift components and network/storage integration.
  • Manage images, registries, builds, and security scanning.
  • Configure RBAC, authentication, and security policies.
  • Automate deployment and operations with Ansible, Terraform, Helm, or GitOps.
  • Support CI/CD integration and disaster recovery planning.
  • Maintain OpenShift Operators and OLM, collaborate across teams.
  • Provide technical leadership and document procedures.
  • Offer on-call support for production incidents.

Software and Web Development through teams with extensive experience developing applications based on a wide range of technologies (JAVA, C#, .NET, ASP, PHP, etc.), as well as carrying out custom development of management applications, integration solutions, intranets, extranets, communications management, websites, etc., including the maintenance, development, and improvement of previously developed applications.

SAP Consulting and Administration (SAP BC, SAP PI (and SAP XI), SAP EP, etc.)

Mobile Development: highly specialized in innovative development for mobile platforms, with a focus on iOS and Android.

Systems Administration, Digital Transformation, Cloud, Infrastructure, and Databases.

We are looking for an OpenShift Administrator to join a major international project.

Tareas
  • Install, configure, and maintain OpenShift Container Platform (OCP) clusters across development, staging, and production environments.Manage cluster upgrades, patching, and lifecycle operations, ensuring minimal downtime and service continuity.
  • Monitor cluster health, performance, and capacity, proactively identifying and resolving issues.
  • Administer and troubleshoot core OpenShift components (etcd, API server, controllers, networking, ingress/routes, storage classes).
  • Manage container images and registries, including image builds, security scanning, and lifecycle policies.
  • Configure and maintain networking (SDN/OVN-Kubernetes, network policies, load balancing) and storage integrations (persistent volumes, storage operators).
  • Implement and manage RBAC (Role-Based Access Control), authentication, and security policies to ensure compliance and governance.
  • Automate deployment, configuration, and operational tasks using tools such as Ansible, or Terraform, or Helm, or GitOps practices (ArgoCD, Tekton).
  • Support CI/CD pipeline integration for application deployment on OpenShift.Perform backup, disaster recovery, and business continuity planning for clusters and workloads.
  • Manage OpenShift Operators and Operator Lifecycle Manager (OLM) for platform extensions.
  • Collaborate with development, infrastructure, and security teams to define best practices and standards for containerized workloads.
  • Provide technical leadership, mentoring junior administrators, and contributing to architecture and design decisions.
  • Document procedures, configurations, and troubleshooting guides.
  • Provide on-call support for incident resolution in production environments.
Requisitos
  • Experience administering and supporting Red Hat OpenShift platforms.
  • Strong knowledge of Kubernetes operations and containerized environments.
  • Solid understanding of Linux systems administration and platform operations.
  • Experience with Infrastructure as Code and automation tools (Ansible, Terraform, or similar).
  • Experience implementing and maintaining CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
  • Experience managing platform upgrades, patches, security, and capacity planning.
  • Technical coordination and collaboration across infrastructure, development, and operations teams.
  • Professional working proficiency in English and Spanish.
