Job summary

Americold is seeking a proactive Accounts Payable Associate for the European Service Support Center in Barcelona, Spain. The role focuses on invoice processing, payment runs, and collaboration with procurement and finance teams to support Americold's growth across Europe.

The ideal candidate will have AP experience, a Finance background, and strong organizational and analytical skills, with a focus on accuracy and timely payments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance or related field is preferred.
• Fluent English required; additional European languages are a plus.
• Experience in accounts payable or similar financial role is required.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and ERP systems.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, review, and execute weekly, bi-weekly, and monthly payment runs.
• Monitor payment due dates to ensure timely settlement of supplier obligations.
• Respond to supplier inquiries regarding payment status.
• Collaborate with internal departments, such as procurement and finance, to ensure seamless operations.
• Identify and implement process improvements to enhance AP efficiency.
• Stay updated on accounting software and best practices in accounts payable management.
