A leading power equipment company in Madrid is seeking a Market Development Manager to drive international sales growth. The ideal candidate will have at least 3 years of experience in the sector, a strong background in market research, and exceptional negotiation skills. About the Company

This role focuses on formulating international market strategies, managing client relationships, and developing new markets to drive sales growth and ensure the successful execution of projects.

Market Strategy & Planning :

Conduct in-depth international market research to analyze the macroeconomy, power energy policies, industry trends, competitive landscape, and customer needs in global target markets (e.g., Formulate annual and long-term international market development plans, sales targets, and budgets.

Proactively seek out and develop new overseas clients, including but not limited to : national power companies, EPC contractors, large industrial enterprises, distributors, and OEM partners.

Lead client negotiations, including technical clarifications, commercial term discussions, and contract signing, ensuring project profitability and compliance.

Technical Support & Sales :

Work closely with the internal technical team to prepare customized technical proposals, tender documents, and project proposals based on client requirements (e.g., Bachelor's degree or higher in Electrical Engineering, Power Systems, Marketing, International Trade, or a related field.

Experience :

Minimum 3 years of experience in international market development / sales within the transformer, power equipment, or heavy industry sector, with a record of successful projects and a stable client base.

Understanding of international tender processes and trade terms.

Excellent command of English (spoken and written), sufficient for use as a working language. Communication Skills :

Exceptional cross-cultural communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
