Formación

Our client is a german leading and expanding company in the toy and bath-cosmetics industry. We are currently seeking a (Senior) Accounting Specialist with German to join the team at the earliest possible start date. The role is based in Sabadell.

Your responsibilities
  • You will be responsible for the accounts payable and receivable, as well, as for keeping track of the financial transactions within the company.
  • You will use our accounting software and systems, reconcile bank statements, and manage invoices and payments.
  • You will maintain accurate and complete records, including ledgers, journals, invoices, receipts, and information related to supplies and inventory.
  • You will be a key player of the accounting department in daily, monthly, and annual activities, including generating financial reports, developing budgets, preparing taxes, and assisting with audits and resolving discrepancies.
  • You will be speaking with vendors and suppliers to ensure charges are accurate and that payments are received in a timely manner.
  • You will communicate with clients to discuss account statuses, charges, or discrepancies.
  • You will be the liaison with our external tax consultancy to make sure all taxes are presented correctly and on due time.
  • It is managing the accountancy and financial status of Germany, Spain, UK, Switzerland, USA, etc. reporting to the Chief financial officer located in Switzerland.
Your profile
  • You already have experience in accounts payable and/or receivable, ideally 2+ years; and you have a deep understanding of financial principles and accounting procedures, allowing you to maintain accurate financial records.
  • You have excellent numerical proficiency and strong data analysis skills and can interpret complex financial data effectively.
  • You have a good understanding of accounting principles and current European financial legislation. The company current operational markets are Spain, UK, USA, Switzerland, Germany, etc.
  • You have a very good command of English and speak German (at least mid-level).
  • You are an advance user of the finance module of an ERP. We use Microsoft Dynamics ERP. You enjoy driving things forward together, have a hands-on mentality and, at the same time, you take on tasks independently.
  • You have strong communication and problem-solving abilities to coordinate with other departments efficiently.
  • You have a structured working style and are passionate about working independently and autonomously.
