Otis SE is seeking an Accounting Lead in Vigo to oversee daily accounting activities and monthly closings within a multinational environment. You will ensure accurate recording of transactions, maintain internal controls, and coordinate audits while leading and developing the accounting team.

The role requires 3–5 years of accounting experience, strong knowledge of tax regulations, and advanced Excel/JDEdwards expertise, with English fluency to support global collaboration.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field.
• 3–5 years of accounting experience, including prior leadership experience.
• Strong knowledge of accounting and tax regulations.
• Experience with ERP systems (JDEdwards).
• Advanced proficiency in Excel.
• Advanced level of English (in multinational environments).

Responsabilidades

• Manage and coordinate daily accounting activities.
• Oversee monthly closing processes.
• Ensure accurate recording of transactions and provisions.
• Review and approve balance sheet reconciliations.
• Ensure compliance with corporate accounting policies and applicable standards (IFRS, US GAAP, or local regulations).
• Coordinate internal and external audits.
• Lead, develop, and evaluate the accounting team.
• Implement improvements in processes, internal controls, and automation.
