Job summary

Entravision is seeking an Accounting Analyst to maintain the company’s books in line with local regulations, ensuring accuracy and timely reporting across multiple entities. The role covers posting, closing, and reporting of accounting items, with collaboration across AP/AR and Finance.

The ideal candidate holds CPA/CA/RA or equivalent, has 2+ years of experience, and is proficient in Oracle/NetSuite, Excel, and Google Workspace, with strong English and Spanish communication skills.

Qualifications

• CPA/CA/RA or equivalent accounting qualification.
• 2+ years of relevant accounting experience, preferably in a global company.
• Experience with Oracle/NetSuite or similar ERP systems.
• Advanced Excel skills (Pivot tables, VLOOKUP) and Google Workspace proficiency.
• Strong written and spoken English and Spanish.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and post routine journal entries, accruals, and daily accounting transactions.
• Perform regular reconciliations of GL accounts.
• Assist in month-end closing and ensure compliance with local regulations.
• Track local tax, regulatory, and reporting deadlines.
• Gather evidence for audits and management reporting.
• Coordinate with AP/AR and Finance to resolve queries.

We're looking for an Accounting Analyst to play a key role in maintaining the company’s books according to local regulations, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timely reporting across multiple entities. The role involves a full spectrum of accounting-related tasks, and your mission is to ensure the successful posting, closing, and reporting of accounting-related items.

What You'll Do

• Prepare and post routine journal entries, accruals, and daily accounting transactions.
• Perform regular reconciliations of GL accounts.
• Assist in the month-end closing activities, ensuring financial data is accurately reflected according to local regulations.
• Support the tracking and execution of local tax, regulatory, and reporting deadlines.
• Gather and document evidence for internal/external audits and management reporting.
• Coordinate with internal teams (such as AP/AR and Finance) to resolve operational accounting queries and discrepancies.

What You Should Have

• CPA / CA / RA or equivalent academic qualification
• 2 years + of relevant working experience, preferably with a global company
• Knowledge of Oracle (NetSuite) or other accounting systems
• Advanced Excel (i.e: Pivot tables, VLook-ups) skills and working knowledge of Google Workspace
• Strong professional oral and written communication skills in English and Spanish
• Ability to work within a team as well as independently
• Self-starter approach and eager to learn
• Strong analytical-thinking skills, organization, and ability to adapt whenever necessary
• Possesses contagious enthusiasm and a positive approach to problem-solving
