Alto Infrastructure is seeking an Accountant & Finance Support Specialist to work closely with the CFO in Benahavís/Marbella, handling day-to-day accounting, reporting and business support. • Hands-on accounting experience in Spain (gestoría or close-to-client environment).
• Solid knowledge of Spanish accounting, VAT and tax processes.
• Fluent Spanish (written and spoken) essential.
• Basic conversational English is enough.

Responsabilidades

• Own day-to-day accounting and financial administration.
• Support monthly, quarterly and annual closing processes.
• Handle VAT, tax and statutory reporting.
• Prepare financial reports and management reporting.

People By People is recruiting a Finance & Business Support Specialist on behalf of Alto Infrastructure, a fast-growing company developing, building and operating sustainable, high-performance data centres that power the rapid growth of artificial intelligence and cloud computing.

Following its first investment round, Alto Infrastructure has entered an exciting phase of growth. Construction of the company's first AI data centre is underway in Granada, marking the beginning of an ambitious expansion across Spain and Southern Europe.

To support this journey, Alto Infrastructure is now looking for an Accountant & Finance Support Specialist to join its team in Benahavís, Marbella.

This is a unique opportunity to join an ambitious, investor-backed company at an early stage, work closely with the CFO, and put real, practical Spanish accounting experience to use from day one.

About the Role

As Accountant & Finance Support Specialist, you will work closely with Alto Infrastructure's CFO and become an important part of the company's continued growth.

This is a broad, hands-on role that combines day-to-day accounting, reporting and business support. You will be involved in everything from bookkeeping and financial administration to management reporting, corporate transactions, process improvements and supporting the wider business wherever needed.

No two days will look exactly the same. Alto Infrastructure is looking for someone who enjoys variety, takes ownership, and is used to rolling up their sleeves rather than working from a narrowly defined job description.

As the company continues to expand, there is genuine room to grow within the finance function over time.

Key Responsibilities

Finance & Accounting

• Own day-to-day accounting and financial administration.
• Support monthly, quarterly and annual closing processes.
• Handle VAT, tax and statutory reporting.
• Prepare financial reports and management reporting.
• Coordinate with external accountants, auditors and advisors.
• Perform reconciliations and maintain accurate financial documentation.
• Support budgeting, forecasting and financial analysis.
• Help establish and continuously improve financial processes and internal controls.

Business Support & Administration

• Support the CFO across a broad range of financial and administrative matters.
• Assist with contracts, company documentation and operational administration.
• Coordinate and support business projects as required.
• Contribute wherever support is needed as the company continues to grow.
• Identify opportunities to improve ways of working and help build efficient routines and processes.

Who Alto Infrastructure Is Looking For

The ideal candidate has built a genuinely hands-on accounting foundation, most likely through experience at a gestoría or a similarly close, varied accounting environment in Spain. Experience from a smaller gestoría, where you have worked broadly across many clients and tasks rather than one narrow area, is a strong advantage.

Alto Infrastructure is looking for someone who enjoys solving problems, takes ownership naturally, and is comfortable working in an environment where not every process has already been defined.

The right person is detail-oriented with a pragmatic, hard-working mindset and wants to grow together with an ambitious company.

Qualifications

• Hands-on accounting experience in Spain, ideally gained at a gestoría or a similarly broad, close-to-the-client accounting environment. This is considered close to essential for this role.
• Solid, practical knowledge of Spanish accounting, VAT and tax processes, built through real day-to-day casework.
• Fluent Spanish, written and spoken, is essential.
• Basic conversational English is enough; you do not need to be fluent.
• Experience working with Microsoft Dynamics is considered an advantage but not a requirement .
• Ability to work independently while collaborating closely with a small team.
