Pluxee is seeking an Accountant to execute core accounting tasks and ensure IFRS and local compliance. You will post journal entries, maintain the general ledger, perform reconciliations, and support month-end close processes.

You will work with Finance to resolve issues, support audits, and maintain orderly documentation for controls and reviews. Fluency in English and Spanish is required, with Navision ERP experience preferred.

Formación

• Requires Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance.
• 2–4 years of experience in a similar accounting role.
• Good understanding of IFRS and/or local GAAP.
• Experience with ERP systems (Navision).
• Proficiency in Microsoft 365 (Excel).
• Languages: Spanish & fluent in English.

The Accountant is responsible for executing core accounting tasks to ensure accurate and compliant financial records. This includes posting journal entries, maintaining general ledger accuracy, performing reconciliations, and supporting month-end close processes. The role ensures the integrity of financial data in line with IFRS and local accounting standards.

YOUR NEXT CHALLENGE

Responsibilities:

• Operational Accounting Process journal entries and maintain accurate general ledger accounts in line with accounting procedures, approval rules, and reporting deadlines.
• Perform recurring reconciliations of key balance sheet and income statement accounts, identifying differences and supporting their timely resolution.
• Support fixed asset accounting, intercompany transactions, accrual postings, prepaid expenses, provisions, reclassifications, and other standard accounting activities.
• Ensure that accounting entries are complete, accurate, properly supported, and recorded in the correct period.
• Collaborate with finance colleagues and relevant business stakeholders to clarify transactional information and resolve basic accounting issues.

Closing and Accounting Documentation

• Assist with month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing activities by preparing entries, reconciliations, schedules, and supporting documentation.
• Follow closing instructions and deadlines to support timely and accurate financial reporting.
• Maintain organized documentation for journal entries, reconciliations, approvals, supporting evidence, and accounting files.
• Ensure that accounting records are traceable and ready for review by the Accounting Analyst, Accounting Manager, auditors, or internal control teams.
• Escalate unresolved items, missing documentation, or unusual accounting movements to the appropriate finance stakeholder.

Compliance and Audit Support

• Apply internal controls, accounting procedures, company policies, and local accounting requirements in daily activities.
• Support internal and external audits by providing requested data, reconciliations, explanations, and documentation.
• Address audit queries in coordination with the Accounting Manager or Accounting Analyst.
• Support the follow-up of audit requests and ensure that documentation is provided within required timelines.
• Contribute to reliable, compliant, and well-documented accounting operations.

YOU ARE A MATCH IF...

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• Work Experience: 2–4 years of experience in a similar accounting role.
• Good understanding of IFRS and/or local GAAP.
• Experience with ERP systems (Navision).
• Proficiency in Microsoft 365 (especially Excel).
• Languages: Spanish & fluent in English.
