A leading retail company is seeking an experienced Account Manager to foster strong relationships with large retail customers. The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years of account management experience within the Consumer Package Goods sector, a proven sales track record, and fluency in English. Responsibilities include negotiating contracts and monitoring account performance. This role is primarily remote, offering flexibility and a competitive compensation package.

Account Management & Client Development

Must have 5 years or more experience with Consumer Package Goods and calling on retail customers.

Serve as the trusted advisor and main point of contact for assigned large retail customers.

Strengthen relationships at multiple levels within the customer organization, including buyers, category managers, and senior executives.

Sales & Performance Management

Negotiate contracts, pricing, and service agreements that align with business objectives.

Monitor account performance metrics and proactively address risks or opportunities.

Stay informed on retail trends, competitor activity, and market developments relevant to your customer base.

Partner with internal teams including marketing, supply chain, finance, and product development to ensure flawless execution of account plans.

Provide accurate sales forecasts and performance updates to senior management.

Use data and insights to inform decision-making and measure success across all retail touchpoints.

Must have a minimum 5 years

of account management experience, specifically working with large retail customers

(preferably national or multinational chains).

Proven track record of exceeding sales targets and building high-impact client relationships with retail and online customers.

Must be fluent in English – both written and spoken.

Strong commercial acumen with the ability to interpret financial data, P&Ls, and retail KPIs.

Strong problem-solving mindset and proactive approach to client management.

Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite; experience with Excel.

Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Economics, or a related field; MBA is a plus.
