Job summary

Airbus Defence and Space SAU seeks a Simulation Systems Project Manager to lead training simulation services strategy and bid activities. The role spans global collaboration across sites, managing training aids design, development, and deployment to satisfy operator needs.

The ideal candidate brings 7+ years in simulation, strong program management skills, and proficiency in English for international environments. Spanish is a plus, with travel as required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or higher in a relevant engineering field (Master's preferred).
• 7+ years in simulation as a Systems Engineer, Chief Engineer, or Technical Project Manager.
• Strong English communication in international settings; Spanish desirable.

Responsibilities

• Define and execute the future A400M Training Simulation services strategy from an Operator Readiness perspective.
• Lead complex commercial bids for global Training Services and assess new capability offers.
• Manage key project execution activities for Training Aids design, development, and deployment to meet operator needs.
• Oversee suppliers and contracts across the Training Aids portfolio (FFS, CHT, LMWST, CMOS).
• Interface with internal customer teams (TASA) and support OCCAR forums and reviews.
• Perform Make or Buy evaluations to ensure training simulation services meet operator needs.
