Job Description: Introduction: An opportunity for an A400M Material Support Specialist has arisen within Airbus Defence and Space, Getafe (Madrid). The selected candidate will join the Materials & Logistics Department supporting the A400M Programme. The department is responsible for ensuring the availability of materials required to support the programme by coordinating supply chain activities, managing logistics flows and working closely with internal stakeholders, suppliers and customers. The team is multidisciplinary and highly collaborative, interacting with different Airbus functions such as Procurement, Supply Chain, Production, Finance and Customer Services. Depending on the candidate's profile, the successful applicant will reinforce one of the team's activity areas or combine responsibilities across both operational and analytical functions, contributing to the continuous improvement of the department.
The jobholder will be responsible for: Manage customer material and order portfolios, ensuring material availability and monitoring logistics activities throughout the supply chain. Coordinate with suppliers and internal stakeholders to support purchasing activities, material follow‑up and delivery performance. Monitor, analyse and report departmental KPIs, supporting operational performance and decision‑making. Participate in cross‑functional projects focused on process improvement, reporting and data analysis. Perform data analysis (Big Data/Reporting) to identify trends, improve operational efficiency and support business decisions. Support financial‑related activities when required, collaborating with the team on cost monitoring and basic financial analysis.
