Job summary

T-Systems Iberia in Madrid seeks a Solution Designer for the SDM Lifecycle Squad to operate the 5G/4G Core frontend systems in a cloud-based environment, including UDM, AMF, SMF, NRF and HSS.

You will monitor with Kibana and Grafana, manage Kubernetes clusters with kubectl and k9s, and apply GitOps workflows, NetScout and Wireshark for tracing. On-call duties follow thorough training, with strong cross-functional collaboration expected.

Qualifications

• In-depth knowledge of 5G Core (UDM/AMF/SMF/NRF) and cloud-based infra.
• Proficient with kubectl, k9s, Kibana and Grafana in production.
• Experience applying GitOps and conducting protocol analysis with Netscout/Wireshark.

Responsibilities

• End-to-end operation of 5G/4G Core frontend systems in a cloud environment.
• Monitor systems using Kibana and Grafana; resolve incidents and support problem management.
• Manage cloud clusters with kubectl/k9s and apply configuration changes via GitOps.

This includes ensuring the stable operation of the SDM platform, as well as the deployment and piloting of the systems in a cloud environment.
