T-Systems Iberia is seeking a Data Engineer to own the lifecycle of real-time data pipelines, collaborating with data scientists and DevOps in a hybrid work setup across Granada and Madrid.

Required skills include Java and Python, Kafka and Flink, Kubernetes, and DevOps tools. The role involves 24/7 availability, on-call duties, and close teamwork with cross-functional colleagues.

Formación

• Strong programming in Java and Python.
• Experience with Big Data tech like Kafka and Flink.
• Experience with real-time data pipelines and ETL workflows.
• Kubernetes environments and cloud/container tech familiarity.
• DevOps CI/CD tooling (GitLab, Artifactory, Helm, Flux).
• Experience with monitoring systems (Grafana/Prometheus).
• Good English skills, written and spoken.

Responsabilidades

• Own the lifecycle of real-time data processing pipelines from design to deployment.
• Develop and optimize ETL pipelines and integrate new data sources.
• Operate and monitor Kubernetes-based pipelines for 24/7 availability.
• Rollout management following ITIL/corporate processes.
• Collaborate with DataScientists, DevOps, and internal customers.
• Be flexible for tasks outside normal hours; on-call ~6 weeks/year.
