Descripción del empleo
Job Description: Ready to join one of our Airbus Programs in Spain? AIRBUS offers an internship (curricular practicum) program aimed at students who are in the last year of their degree with the main objective of acquiring professional skills through the development of a project in the company. What do we offer? : Internship (curricular practicum) program + Bachelor s Degree Final Project (TFG). Mission: You will prepare a final year training project that will allow you to complete your official studies. About practical training:
  • 6 months of curricular practicum at AIRBUS from February to July 2026
  • Part time: 5h/day - 25 hours per week (8h-13h)
  • Tutor assignment for continuous monitoring
Final project (TFG) to be carried out by the student:
Stress Methods & Tools new capabilities validation
Motivation : The project will focus on the validation and verification of methodology and associated tools for structural analysis. More and more, the optimization of airframe design requires addressing new features and developing new approaches for structural analysis, as well as their implementation into digital tools. In order to be used for structural certification, those new stress methodologies and tools require thorough validation and verification against different types of sources (Finite Element Models, analytical approaches, physical test results). The student will develop the grant inside the structural analysis tools team 1AMXS at Airbus in charge of the development of the structural analysis capabilities applicable to the whole Airbus aircraft family. The student will be located in Getafe but will be integrated in a fully transnational team.
Project:
The intention of the project is to deep dive into new methodologies for structural analysis and into the associated capabilities (tools). A strategy on how to validate the accuracy and representativeness of the results of the couple Method/Tool shall be defined. Such a strategy must comprise comparison to different sources of data: results of Finite Element Analysis, results of physical tests, predictions from other alternative approaches (typically for basic cases), etc. During the project the student will compare the actual prediction of the new methodology/tool with the results of these other sources of information with the aim to conclude about the level of validation, the representativeness and the applicability range for the new methodology/Tool.
