Universidade de Vigo seeks an engineer to design and develop modern HMI interfaces and frontend architectures in a Linux/containerized environment. You will build web apps with Svelte/SvelteKit and TypeScript, connect to backend services through REST, JSON and NATS, and create robust, reusable components.

You will collaborate with backend, systems, and cybersecurity teams to ensure secure, scalable solutions, and may contribute to mobile or backend development as needed.

Offer Description

Support with the following tasks:

Design and develop modern HMI interfaces for advanced systems, contributing to the definition of the frontend architecture, UX, and technical evolution.

Develop web applications using Svelte/SvelteKit and TypeScript, creating reusable, robust, and efficient components.

Integrate the HMI with backend services, APIs, and distributed systems using REST, NATS, JSON, and other communication technologies.

Develop real-time data visualizations and interactions, adhering to performance, usability, and security criteria.

Participate in debugging, testing, integration, and deployment of solutions in Linux and containerized environments.

Collaborate with the backend, systems, and cybersecurity teams on product integration.

Participate as needed in mobile or backend development and propose technical solutions that improve the architecture and user experience.

If necessary, candidates must meet the requirements to apply for their HPS.

Item 01: Academic background and other courses. Verifiable professional experience (at least 2 years). Knowledge of languages (Spanish, English, Galician) with practical application in a professional setting. (punctuation: 30)

Item 03: Experience integrating front-end with back-end services and distributed systems using NATS, REST, JSON, WebSocket, or similar technologies. Knowledge of Git, Linux, Docker, CI/CD, debugging, testing, optimization, and web security. (punctuation: 20)

Item 04: Other qualifications: experience in mobile development, backend development, or APIs; UX/UI, real-time data visualization, and applied cybersecurity. Technical independence, a commitment to continuous learning, and participation in personal projects are highly valued. (punctuation: 10)

Item 05: Personal interview. The interview will be conducted only with those candidates whose total merit score reaches a minimum of 50 points. (punctuation: 15)
