The company is expanding its product portfolio by creating a new category of dry fruits. We are looking for a Category Manager – Frutos Secos (International Food Sector) with strategic vision, technical knowledge, and the ability to coordinate industrial product development projects.
Responsibilities
- Design the introduction and growth strategy for the dry fruits category.
- Analyze market trends, competitors, and development opportunities.
- Define the category positioning within the product portfolio.
- Select, standardize, and manage national and international suppliers.
- Negotiate conditions, contracts, and quality standards.
- Ensure supply continuity and regulatory compliance.
- Coordinate industrialization projects and new product launches.
- Collaborate closely with Production, Purchasing, and Quality.
- Ensure integration of new production processes.
- Identify improvement opportunities in industrial processes.
- Coordinate product testing and plant scale‑ups.
- Oversee the implementation of quality protocols and certifications (ISO, BRC, IFS).
Qualifications
- University degree in Agronomy Engineering, Food Technology, Industrial Engineering, or similar.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in the dry fruits, natural ingredients, or food industry.
- Knowledge of industrial processes, food quality, and product development.
- High proficiency in English.
- Strong negotiation, project management, and cross‑functional communication skills.
- Analytical mindset, results orientation, and strategic vision.
